WHAT PLATFORM DOES SOP ONLINE USE?

SOP Online uses Learndash for our classroom environment. It is a user friendly portal, where you will be able to submit all weekly assignments, download notes and all notices.

How many hours per week does sop online require?

What is required weekly of an SOP Online Student are the following:

  • Watch the video recording from that week's class

  • Complete the questionnaire & activation attached with that video teaching

  • Turn in assignment by Friday at 4pm (AEST)

As well as the weekly assignments for an online student, there is the Finding Father Devotional which you can learn more about here. In the first term of SOP, we hold an encounter weekend. Online students will receive an "Encounter Weekend" assignment which includes 6 video teachings along with questionnaires - online students are given 6 weeks to complete this assignment.

With all online assignments, it is up to each individual student how they choose to manage their time weekly and over the course of SOP.

IS THE SCHOOL OF PROPHETS AN ACCREDITED INSTITUTION?

The School of Prophets is designed to see lives transformed in our students and through our students. Although students study scripture and learn in a online classroom environment, the school is not an accredited institution.

IS THE SCHOOL AFFILIATED WITH A CHURCH?

The School of Prophets is a school hosted at Stairway Church, a church in Vermont VIC. More information can be found on Stairway's website here

WILL I BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND A CHURCH WHILE AT THE SCHOOL?

The school is designed around the importance of the local church. Therefore, all in-house and online students will be required to attend A local church. They will not be required to attend Stairway as their local church, but they must attend a local church and provide a pastoral reference - as well as a leader reference.

CAN I AUDIT SOME CLASSES?

As the school is focused on intense growth and personal transformation, we place a high value on creating a safe place for our students to receive. As a certain element of privacy is required to foster this environment, we do not let the public audit our classes.

CAN I VISIT THE SCHOOL?

Online students who are interested in attending the school when they are in Melbourne are welcome to! They just simply need to contact their online small group leader to confirm the specific session that they will be present for.

***If the online student moves to Melbourne during the school term they will still be subject to all the online requirements, and will not be allowed to attend every class***
